SM♠Sergeant Major IndiaTHREE PLAYERS. ONE CLEAR PLAN.
Scorekeeping

Check the counts before you save

A shared record works best when everyone can read it.

Say which column belongs to whom

Keep the players in the same clockwise order for the whole session. Read their names back before entering the counts. A role changes from hand to hand; a scorebook column should continue to identify the same person.

Check the finished hand

The scorekeeper asks for all sixteen tricks of a completed hand. Check each player’s count before submitting. It calculates differences from the seat targets, but it cannot verify the physical play, legality of a card or accuracy of the count you supplied.

Preserve a useful note

Use the optional note for an agreement or a correction relevant to that hand. Avoid passwords, private account details and unnecessary personal information. A good note should explain the record tomorrow without becoming a transcript of the whole evening.

Keep a copy

Export CSV before resetting or clearing the browser. Undo removes the latest entry and restores the previous dealer position. An older mistake needs a careful reconstruction; keep an export first.
